PragSAT 2014
15. September 2014Students participated in the European contest called ESA CanSat Competition. Teams of high schools students are to develop and manufacture minisatellites, called CanSats, with dimensions of a soft drink can with a volume of 330 ml. The final round of the contest is held annually at Andøya Rocket Range in Norway.

7. March 2014Prague student Kryštof Hes succeeded in international competition Cassini Scientist for a Day, which was attended by more than 800 students. He has proposed and upheld the importance of exploration of Saturn's moon Iapetus by Cassini-Huygens probe, which explores Saturn and its system of rings and moons since 2004.
World Space Week 2013
5. September 2013In the week of 4 - 10 October 2013 the fifteenth time global celebration of astronautics and space exploration World Space Week is going to take place. Czech Space Office that coordinates its activities in Czech Republic, invites all the organizations which are dealing with popularization of astronautics for active participation.

November 2012In the project GRAVARC at the Large Diameter Centrifuge at ESA ESTEC team of two PhD students investigated the behaviour of gliding arc discharge in carbon containing atmosphere in conditions of hypergravity as well as the properties of the solid products prepared by plasma enhanced chemical vapour deposition in discharge plasma channel.
CANSAT 2012
23. May 2012Czech high school students joined the final part of 2nd European competition CanSat, which took place in the Andoya Rocket Range in Norway. The goal of competing teams was to develop and test their own satellite, fitting into a can of drink. The competition is co-organized by the ESA and the Czech team was provided by CSO.
