CSO at the ITU Symposium on small satellite regulation and communication systems in Prague

Global Symposium and Workshop of ITU Radiocommunication Sector will be held on 2-4 March 2015 in the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Czech Technical University (CTU) in Prague. Focus will be put on the issues associated with the implementation and regulation of radiocommunication networks using small satellites.

The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) is a specialized agency of the United Nations (UN), responsible for the area of information and communication technologies that coordinates global usage of the radio spectrum including satellite links.

The Symposium is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the event is prepared by ITU in cooperation with the CTU in Prague and the Czech Space Office (CSO) whose director, Jan Kolář, will present Czech activities in area of small satellites and satellite instruments. Over 200 experts from ITU member countries from research and industry sectors are going to visit the event. Also the director of the ITU Radiocommunication Sector, François Rancy will participate at the Symposium.

Součástí sympozia je také výstava a panelové postery v předsálí konferenčního sálu. Průběh jednání budete mít možnost sledovat také na webu akce (viz odkaz v levém panelu).

Part of the symposium is poster exhibition in the foyer of the conference hall.
