CSO activities

Our activities in 2015

The annual report describes activities and results of the Czech Space Office in 2015. In this period, the most of activities were supported and funded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. Part of the activities was founded by the Operational Programme “Education for Competitiveness” and Horizon 2020.

Reflections on IAC 2015

The Czech Space Office has returned from 66th International Astronautical Congress 2015 in Jerusalem. Motto of the IAC 2015 was "Space - the Gateway for Mankind's Future" and it was attended by total of 2,100 registered participants.

IAC 2015 - Day Five

Even on the last day of the International Astronautical Congress, the CSO presented its activities and projects of Czech workplaces at its booth. The next IAC will be hosted by Mexican Guadalajara. This year's IAC has been elected the city for congress in 2018, German Bremen.

IAC 2015 - Day Four

During the fourth day of the IAC 2105, CSO booth was attended by a number of interesting participants among whom was the director of the Polish Space Agency, the director of the Israeli company C.M.I. or representative of D-Orbit company. Despite the unstable security situation the congress continues without problems.

IAC 2015 - Day Three

During the third day of the IAC 2015, the CSO continued in dialogue with the director of the Chinese company HEAD Aerospace, that plans to visit the Czech Republic in 2016. CSO staff also talked with representatives of the Singaporean company Astroscale that intents to be the first to capture and manage the extinction of malfunctioning satellites.

IAC 2015 - Day Two

TThe second day of the Congress IAC 2015 the CSO visited the Israel Aerospace Industries, started a discussion on the possibilities of presentation of Czech workplaces in the newly launched web portal ByHEAD.com, participated in the Executive Committee of the Space Generation Advisory Council and met with representatives of Astrobotic Technology.
