Former U.S. astronaut Scott E. Parazynski came to Prague to share his experience of space missions with the public. The Czech Space Office in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy organized two lectures attended by Czech and foreign astronautics enthusiatsts.
Czech students presented the international educational competition Expedition Mars during the Education and Outreach section of Humans in Space Symposium 2015. Their participation was ensured through the finnancial support of the Czech Space Office, the co-organizer of the event.
At the Czech Space Day conference of which the first one was held July 3 2015 at the CTU, there were students and young professionals discussing their activities and experiences in space and also took the chance to explore current opportunities for involvement in this area.
Today has finished Humans in Space Symposium 2015 organized by the Czech Space Office in cooperation with the International Academy of Astronautics, that lasted from Monday 29th June in Prague Hotel Diplomat. At the global event successfully participated twelve of the Czech scientists.
In 2-4 March, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) held Symposium in Prague that was focused on rules for communication of small satellites. The event was organised in collaboration with the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Prague and the Czech Space Office.
Forty visitors of the international trade Amper 2014 gathered at a specialized seminar organized by Czech Space Office in cooperation with CzechInvest and ICT Alliance. CSO, in collaboration with the Faculty of Electrical Engeneering, CTU (Czech Technical University) in Prague, organized a seminar on small satellites on March 4, which convened the presentation of the state to solve their project teams that work in the Czech Republic on cubesate preparation.
Czech Space Office in collaboration with the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Prague organized an international seminar on Russian-Czech cooperation in space research. The event was attended by nearly four tens of Czech and Russian experts, who discussed the issues of future cooperation.
Czech Space Office organized and prepared a special section dedicated to GMES programme (Global Monitoring for Environment and Security) at the “TOWARDS eENVIRONMENT” conference, which had taken place in Prague between March 25th and 27th during the Czech Presidency of the EU.
