IAC 2014 - Day Two

Our Tuesday's programme consisted of, in addition to traditional presentation at the booth, participation in the plenary session of the commercial human space flight, of which exchange of different points of view of several space industry leaders took place. A great experience was the early evening Highlight Lecture with Professor Bibring presentation of the first scientific results of the ESA Rosetta probe and preparations for the November landing of its module of Philae.

IAC 2014 - Day One

The first day of the Congress, we put together our booth and greeted the first visitors. In contrast to the experience of previous years, the attendance was noticeably smaller, but we hope that the interest in the exhibition will increase during the Congress. In our showcase, this year with the largest number of exhibits, there are product samples from nine of Czech organizations like private companies, Academia and universities.

IAC 2013 was a success

Czech Space Office has returned from the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in Beijing and has had an intense week filled with meetings, promotion of Czech space and activities arising from membership in the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), in which the Director of the Czech Space Office holds the position of vice president.

CSO on IAC in Naples

The 63rd International Astronautical Congress (IAC) will begin 1st October in Naples, Italy. The results of Czech space activities will be presented at the congress by the Czech Space Office that have its own exposure.

100 days till IAC Congress

Current topics of climate change and the use of space technology for environmental monitoring will be few of the main topics of the forthcoming International Astronautical Congress (IAC), which after more than 30 years will take place in Prague at the end of September and which will welcome over 2000 world top scientists. The largest national space agencies like NASA, JAXA and Roskosmos will be also present at the event.

IAC 2009 in Korea

On Monday, 12 October 2009, 60th International Astronautical Congress started in Daejong, South Korea, and it is going to go on up the end of the week. The world’s biggest congress targeted on cosmonautics is attended by over 3000 representatives of space agencies, science institutions and industry. The Czech Republic as the next host of the congress is being represented by the Czech Space Office (CSO).

IAC 2008 in Glasgow

Czech Space Office takes part at the 59th International Astronautical Congress that takes place in Scottish Glasgow. It is primarily going to use this opportunity to present the capabilities of Czech industry and science in the field of cosmonautics. The congress starts on September 29th and lasts till October 3rd 2008.
