MOFINT

The objective of the project was to develop and experimentally validate propagation models and relevant input data for the statistical prediction of radio interference on ground terminals of satellite systems including the implementation of the models into a software tool.

ANED-M

The project was focused on statistical fitting of model parameters to measurements, identification of worst case scenario and geometry optimisation and its goal was to propose a methodology for optimisation of nozzle extension geometry so as to minimise its weight and maximise its reliability with respect to the prescribed uncertain loading.

TREFOTEL

The influence of the real tropospheric environment on the characteristics of both optical and radio terrestrial links was examined. The research was based on results of complex measurements of optical, radio and meteorological parameters.

IRIS / ANTARES

Iris is a multi-year program funded by the European Space Agency (ESA - ARTES 10). The objective of the Iris program is to design and develop new satellite communication systems for safety critical air/ground data and voice communication, enabling the future ATM (Air Traffic Management) concepts being defined by SESAR and NextGen.

ESPRIT

The aim of the ESPRIT project was to propose a preliminary satellite system design for UAS C2 (Command & Control) link and to develop a business case analysis from the UAS C2 service provider perspective, and an analysis of the operational concept of the satellite system.

Czech Space Activities 2013

CSO published a fourth issue of a brochure about space activities in the Czech Republic. It is made available to a foreign audience during International astronautical congress and other similar occasions. The material is available for download in the attachement or in printed version in our office. For all enquiries please send us a message through the contact form.

Polymeric liner

The goal of the project, which was run in close cooperation with EADS CASA, was to develop sufficiently effective barrier based on thermosetting polymers. It would be used on future generations of reusable launch vehicles in effort to reduce the overall vehicle weight.

CSO celebrates its tenth anniversary

Dnes si připomínáme desetileté výročí! Nezisková organizace, kterou v listopadu 2003 založil Jan Kolář, se zasloužila o znovuvzkříšení českého kosmického výzkumu a napomohla ke vstupu České republiky do ESA. Do budoucna se plánujeme zapojit komerčních cest do vesmíru a zprostředkovat vznikající příležitosti české veřejnosti.

XCOR Aerospace cooperation

The Czech Space Office announced today the signing of an exclusive agreement with XCOR Aerospace. The agreement authorizes the CSO to become an Authorized Payload Integrator of XCOR’s Lynx®, a rocket-powered suborbital spacecraft currently being built at XCOR’s headquarters in Mojave, California.
