Our activities in 2015

The annual report describes activities and results of the Czech Space Office in 2015. In this period, the most of activities were supported and funded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. Part of the activities was founded by the Operational Programme “Education for Competitiveness” and Horizon 2020.
Reflections on IAC 2015

The Czech Space Office has returned from 66th International Astronautical Congress 2015 in Jerusalem. Motto of the IAC 2015 was "Space - the Gateway for Mankind's Future" and it was attended by total of 2,100 registered participants.
U.S. astronaut in Prague
4. August 2015
U.S. astronaut Scott Edward Parazynski is going to visit the Czech Republic in late August. He was involved in five missions onboard the U.S. space shuttle and seven times stepped into outer space. In Prague he will present his experience at two public lectures that will be held on Monday, August 24 in the building of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
Czech Space Network

For students and those who have began career in space, want more information on how to actively engage the area, get to know other young people with similar interests, the Czech Space Office has established the group called Czech Space Network. It is time to connect with Czech young experts.

The annual report describes the activities and results of the Czech Space Office in 2014. In this period, the activities of CSO projects were funded by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports in the field of international cooperation in research and development EUPRO II, INGO II and in the Operational Programme Education for Competitiveness.
Czech Space Conference/Competition 2015

At the Czech Space Day conference of which the first one was held July 3 2015 at the CTU, there were students and young professionals discussing their activities and experiences in space and also took the chance to explore current opportunities for involvement in this area.
HIS 2015 is over

Today has finished Humans in Space Symposium 2015 organized by the Czech Space Office in cooperation with the International Academy of Astronautics, that lasted from Monday 29th June in Prague Hotel Diplomat. At the global event successfully participated twelve of the Czech scientists.

CSO on Heads of Space Agencies Summit
14. January 2014
CSO participated in the January Summit of Heads of Space Agencies and Space Exploration Conference in Washington, USA. The director of CSO, Jan Kolář spoke about the multicultural foundations of manned spaceflight.
