NAVCOM PECS Projects

Three PECS projects from the field of telecommunication and navigation (NAVCOM) have been  realized under the PECS programme. Membership of the Czech republic in the programme was officialy terminated when Czechs became members of ESA in November 2008. However, some of the projects embarked within the programme will be finished at the end of 2011. NAVCOM PECS projects

  1. SISNeT project
    Support of ESA Development of SISNeT (Signal in Space through the Internet) related software and applications, notably data server SW or application called SBAS TeACHER.

  2. EGNOS EduTools project
    Development of advanced educational tools related to European Space Agency’s EGNOS system - System Volume Simulator (GNSS),tool for advanced simulation of SBAS systems or SBAS MeNTOR.
  3. Satcom project
    The project is focused on building penetration measurement and modelling for satellite communications at L, S and C-band, using an airship as a carrier of transmitters.
