Czech PECS Projects

About a third of the total current budget of running PECS (Plan for European Cooperating States) projects falls into the area of space physics and astronomy and the same is true for Earth observation (EO) projects. Apart from scientific and EO projects, the remaining budget is shared by Industrial and Navigation projects.

PECS projects can be divided into two groups according to their current status:

Running PECS projects
Finished PECS projects

The first graph bellow depicts financial side of running and finished PECS projects, sorted by type of activity. The administration fee contributed to ESA is also included in this and the following graph.

The second graph depicts allocation of financial resources to constituent principal investigators. The PECS administration fee comprise only 11,7 percent of total PECS budget. Table, which explains the used abbreviations, can be found at the bottom of the page.

The number of projects runned by constituent principal investigators are shown in the last graph. There have been 28 projects in total runned by 13 Principal Investigators.
