National contact point Galileo
Czech national contact point (NCP) Galileo was set up on 1st of October 2005. Czech Space Office is fully responsible for all its activities. The mail goal of Galileo NCP is to inform the public about the project and coordinate national activities related to Galileo system. NCP Galileo should also strengthen relationship between public and private sectors. Czech Ministry of Transport initiated establishment of this national contact point.
Section of Czech Space office portal called "National contact point Galileo" should serve as a information source about Galileo for wide public but also for experts. Most of information provided is only in czech, because it is principally intended for czech-speaking public. The website contain mostly information which can be found on english sites, therefore there is no need to publish facts already mentioned on other websites.
Only part devoted to Galileo program and related to czech projects is translated into english. It should present almost exhaustive overview of activities in the Czech Republic related to satellite navigation.
