Register of Czech objects launched into outer space
Register of objects launched into outer space contains official and practicable information that the launching state should furnish to the United Nations, as soon as possible, after object was launched. The following information concerning each space object are requesting:
- name of launching state
- an appropriate designator of the space object or its registration number
- date and location of launch
- basic orbital parameters including nodal period, inclination, apogee and perigee
- general function of space object
Register of Czech objects launched into outer space was kept by former Czechoslovakia Academy of Sciences for a long time, with that by Institute of Atmospheric Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences and now by Czech Space Office.
