GENERAL INFORMATION
• The candidature is for 61. congress of IAF - International Astronautical Federation
• The Congress has about 1500 - 2000 attendees
• Exhibition – area about 1500 - 2000 m2
• The exhibition is a place for presentation of astronautical research and industry
• The Czech Republic has ideal congress’s infrastructure and interesting location in the middle of Europe (in 2009 it is expected full membership of the Czech Republic in ESA - European Space Agency).
The decision was done at 28. 9. 2007 on plenary session of IAF members in Hyderabad.
The 61st IAC will be held in Prague Congress Centre, Czech republic (http://www.kcp.cz/), 27th September - 1st October 2010.
The patronage of conference is given by the President of Czech Republic Mr. Vaclav Klaus.
