Expedition Mars 2007

CSO Education Centre in cooperation with Children Press Agency DOMINO worked together on the program preparation of the long-term knowledge game - Expedition Mars 2007 (web pages).

In the first (internet) round 202 children - ages to 16 years - from all Czech republic and Slovakia registered. 155 children completed the knowledge test successfully. 100 most successful children continued to second round. 20 children take part in the semifinal several-day preparations. 10 the best of choosen competitors were participated in the final preparations and the simulated crew flight to the Mars. The competition took place from April to September 2007. Competitors among others met with Czech cosmonaut Vladimir Remek and visited Space Museum in Morgenrothe-Rautenkranz (Germany).
